• Repair and maintenance of dies within a timely manner
• Ensure tools are ready according to production schedule
• Monitor production status of dies
• Drive quality improvements of tools based on changeover times hits/hour, and quality
• Order spare parts and Tool components
• Meet with outside Die shops and obtains quotes for any work to be sub-contracted
• Address employee suggestions as required and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Keeps management informed daily – no surprises
• Comply with all ISO
  14001 TS16949 standards
• Reviews requirement and monitors daily quality status of production tooling to ensure total defect free shipments
• Performs customer visits as required
• Ensures equipment breakdowns and downtime is dealt with immediately
• Coordinate implement and monitor effectiveness of all initiatives generated to improve productivity, safety, and report back when done and any other duties that may be assigned
• Maintains timely records and information
• Performs all other related duties as assigned

• Complies with the designated IATF
  16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines
• Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors. Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as always required
• Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards
• Strives for continuous improvement

• Currently working towards obtaining a valid Tool & Die Makers Certificate and 3 to 5 years of job-related experience
