RN Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Magnolia Rehab and Longterm Care in Columbia, TN. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality care and support. Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including mentoring, coaching, and development planning
  • Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct rounds and observes nursing care delivery to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Participate in the development of resident care plans and ensure that care is delivered in a respectful and dignified manner
  • Foster a culture of open communication, teamwork, and respect among all staff members
  • Monitor and report on unit performance, including quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement
  • Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet the needs of the unit
Requirements:
  • Current RN license and registration in the State of Tennessee
  • Minimum of 0 years of experience as an RN Unit Manager or in a related leadership role
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to demonstrate exceptional judgment and decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and families
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Commitment to providing care with dignity and respect for all residents and staff members
  • On- call rotation
