The Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC) is a state-of-the-art 26-bed department designed to optimize patient outcomes and enhance clinician workflow. We care for critically ill patients aged 16 and older, offering advanced therapies such as mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring and continuous renal replacement therapy. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2 depending upon patient acuity. The CCU is recognized with a Gold Level Beacon Award, reflecting our adherence to the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) Healthy Work Environment Framework.

Our interdisciplinary team, including 24/7 intensivists and highly trained nursing staff, is committed to providing comprehensive care from admission to discharge. The unit supports a shared governance model, promoting nurse-led involvement in clinical excellence and quality improvement activities. A typical shift will involve advanced critical thinking skills, nurse driven protocols, responding quickly to urgent and emergent situations and overall care for patients from admission to discharge from the unit.

• Current and Valid License as a Registered Nurse in TN Required
• 2 Years of Med-Surg Nursing Experience for Float Pool Positions Required
• 1 Year of Nursing Experience for PRN Positions Required
• 1 Year of Nursing Experience for FT Positions Preferred
