Garage Door Technician

Executive Doors and Gates is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. As a garage door and gate technician, your role will include diagnosing, repairing and installing garage doors and gates. We are a locally owned and operated, family run business.

Qualifications:

Physical strength and stamina are essential for this job. Some responsibilities require lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials. Skills/qualifications needed:

The ability to operate hand tools and power tools

Three years of experience with some type of handywork/construction job is required

Capable of heavy lifting (up to 75lbs)
The ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and utilize critical thinkingA self-starter who takes responsibility for their role

The ability to follow dress-code, attendance and other business requirements

Carpentry background and some welding is a plus but not required

Able to work in a variety of weather conditions (this is an outdoor job)
The ability to go up and down ladders multiple times

This job involves:

Servicing garage doors and gates

Installing garage doors and gates

Problem solving as to why a garage door or gate isn't working as it should and working towards a solution for the client.

Exceptional customer service as the technician deals directly with the client.

All applicants must pass a driving record and background check prior to being hired. We provide company trucks.
