Job Description

Bilingual Instructional Aide - Additional Information:
Spanish Required

Start Date:

08/06/26

Note:

These positions may require re-assignment to various schools throughout the school year as the need arises.

Job Goal:
To assist school personnel in providing an appropriate educational program.

Reports to:

Principal and Assigned Teachers

Qualifications
  • Must hold an Associate’s Degree (or) have completed at least 48 hours of study at a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or) have successfully completed the Alabama State Board of Education approved WORKKEYS test.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English and specified language(s).
  • Adequate strength and dexterity to perform all required tasks including lifting, stooping, and bending.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Alternatives to the above qualifications may be accepted per Board of Education discretion.
