Mechanical Cooling Technician

This role supports a modular containerized data center facility. The technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the mechanical cooling plant serving a high-density compute environment. The position focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and optimizing chiller systems, serving as the subject matter expert for cooling infrastructure and playing a key role in system uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot chiller systems.
• Maintain closed-loop chilled water distribution systems with buffer tanks.
• Operate and maintain air-cooled screw chillers and Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).
• Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and other control systems.
• Support system optimization and maintenance planning.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical cooling experience is required, obtained in a commercial, industrial, or critical facility environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing or troubleshooting cooling plant failures independently.
• Experience with system programming adjustments.
