Lot Porter ​/ Inventory Control

Are you someone who enjoys cars, being active, and making things look sharp? Jimmy Britt Chevrolet GMC is looking for a dependable, detail-driven team member to help our dealership present every vehicle at its best — both online and on the lot.

• Helps maintain a safe and organized workspace
• Helps maintain lot appearance
• Communicates with Sales Management to facilitate auto placement
• Drives vehicles to and from services areas and lot as needed
• Communicates with Management regarding vehicle condition and re-conditioning needed
• Ensures vehicles are washed/gassed as needed
• Communicate with Management of any vehicle problems that might prevent a sale.
• Identifies, manages, and arranges placement of vehicles for display
• Follows all safety and security procedures
• Facilitates and performs all department duties
• Performs other duties as requested

• Driver’s License with clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Quality communication skills
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Dependable, respectful, friendly, and logical
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen

You’ll be part of a dealership team where your work directly impacts how customers see our vehicles online and on the lot. From the photos customers click on to the way inventory looks when they arrive, this position helps create the first impression that drives sales.
