Administration & Support, People and Culture

Join our People and Culture team in this exciting opportunity and work collaboratively with various teams and departments to ensure timely resolution of inquiries and requests from Macquarie employees. With a passion for customer service and strong attention to detail, you will support the delivery of People and Culture services across the Americas by owning key coordination workflows end‑to‑end, maintaining strong governance, and driving accuracy and efficiency across time‑sensitive processes.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What you will do

You will partner closely with the business, to manage priority pipelines, proactively identify risks and gaps in execution, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the employee and manager experience. In addition, you will support a broad range of People and Culture activities including leave administration and return‑to‑work coordination, exit processes and exit interview administration, maintaining trackers, dashboards, and audit trails, coordinate complex multi‑stakeholder approvals, manage audit‑ready trackers, and contribute to streamlining and continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes.

You will serve as a point of contact for employee and manager queries (via email, phone, or chat), triage requests to the appropriate teams, and ensure timely, accurate resolution and documentation.

Requirements
  • Ideally 3–5 years’ relevant experience in HR operations, coordination, or customer support within a fast‑paced or professional services environment
  • Collaborative, team‑based work style with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, excellent attention to detail, strong problem‑solving mindset, and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and elevate issues effectively
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with ability to maintain trackers and reporting required; experience with HRIS and case management tools (e.g., People Soft, Service Now) is advantageous
  • Exposure to leave management, immigration or mobility coordination, and employee lifecycle processes is beneficial
What we offer

At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that’s rewarding in all the ways that matter most to you. Macquarie employees can access a wide range of benefits which, depending on eligibility criteria, include:

  • 1 wellbeing leave day per year and a minimum of 25 days of annual leave
  • 20 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary caregivers along with 12 days of paid transition leave upon return to work and 6 weeks’ paid leave for secondary caregivers
  • 2 days of paid volunteer leave and donation matching
  • Benefits and initiatives to support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance; health savings account and dependent day‑care savings account; life insurance, disability, and other insurance plans; 401(k) and short/long term disability
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program, a robust behavioural health network with counselling and coaching services
  • Access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities, including reimbursement for professional membership or subscription
  • Recognition and service awards
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements, dependent on role
  • Reimbursement for work‑from‑home equipment
