Role: Consulting CMT Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting laboratory and field testing of construction materials such as soil, concrete, and asphalt.
- Reviewing project specifications to determine appropriate testing methods and procedures.
- Documenting test results and preparing detailed reports, including analysis and interpretation of data.
- Consulting with project teams and clients to provide technical guidance and recommendations based on test results.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Participating in project meetings and providing input on material selection, design, and construction methods.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve material‑related issues and challenges.
- Keeping up‑to‑date with industry developments and advancements in construction material testing techniques and technologies.
- 1-2 years of experience in construction materials testing.
- ACI Field Grade 1 certification preferred.
- Familiarity with standard testing procedures and protocols for construction materials.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in operating testing equipment and relevant software.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to various project sites.
