Residential Remodeling Estimator
And Rosi Contracting, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Residential Remodeling Estimator to join our growing team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for accurately estimating labor, material, and project costs for a variety of residential remodeling projects, including kitchen and bathroom renovations, additions, and full-home interior remodels.
We take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to turn project concepts into accurate, profitable estimates.
Responsibilities- Conduct on-site visits to assess project scope, take accurate measurements, and identify potential job site challenges
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and project timelines
- Utilize construction estimating software to develop comprehensive project proposals
- Request, review, and evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing
- Communicate estimate details clearly with homeowners and answer questions throughout the proposal process
- Coordinate project handoffs to the production team with complete scope documentation and material selections
- Monitor local labor and material costs to maintain accurate estimating data
- Review plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure complete project understanding
- Previous experience as a Residential Remodeling Estimator or in a similar construction estimating role
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, and material sourcing
- Proficiency with construction estimating software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Professional attitude when working with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
