Part Time Teller

As a Teller, you engage in assisting with various financial needs and processing transactions, providing exceptional customer service, minimizing risk, preventing fraud, cross‑selling products, and supporting branch operations.
Responsibilities- Provide an elevated level of customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times, and assisting with banking needs.
- Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraudulent situations.
- Recognize opportunities and cross‑sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
- Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self‑service options.
- Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months of cash handling experience.
- 6+ months of customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to identify and escalare concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Energetic, organized, and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Understand the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Office products.
Base Pay Range:
Minimum $30,000.00 USD - Maximum $47,000.00 USD (annualized for 40‑hour week).
