ASL Interpreter

Step into a meaningful career opportunity supporting students in an educational environment as a Sign Language Interpreter for the upcoming  school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a direct impact while collaborating closely with school staff and students across various age groups. Full-time schedules are anticipated (at least 37.5 hours per week), with potential consideration for part-time hours depending on availability.

The assignment runs from August 3rd, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, with possible pre- and post-planning days.

• Valid Georgia Educator Certificate for Sign Language Interpreters
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Experience working as an onsite interpreter in educational settings
• Flexibility regarding caseload and student age groups, as placements are tailored to your expertise and preferences
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to complete daily service documentation logs

• Provide direct, on-site sign language interpreting services for students and staff
• Adapt interpretation approaches based on individualized student needs and educational goals
• Record and submit daily service logs accurately and promptly
• Participate in team meetings, planning, and professional development as needed
