PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing state and district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational Level: Hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification/License:
Hold a valid Master Cosmetologist or Cosmetology Instructor license issued by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology;
Barber license issued by the Georgia Board of Barbers also strongly preferred. - Experience:
Have at least two (2) years of occupational work experience in the field. - Physical
Activities:
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities - Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Written and oral communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners; student management
