The job of Elementary Instructional Support Paraprofessional is done for the purpose/s of assisting students under the direction of a professional educator and providing instructional support by reinforcing the teacher’s instruction in the classroom.
Requirements- Educational Level: Minimum 60 semester/100 quarter hours of eligible college hours OR passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment Test. If submitting GACE scores, you will also need to provide verification of completion of a HS diploma or GED.

Must maintain Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate which includes in-service training related to position. - Experience:

Written and oral communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners; student management.
