Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team for the  school year in Conyers, GA. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the academic, social, and emotional well‑being of students through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and socio‑emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with diverse needs.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with academic and behavioral challenges.
  • Consult with teachers and parents regarding strategies to address students' learning and behavior difficulties.
  • Participate in the evaluation and identification of students for special education services.
  • Assist in the implementation of school‑wide programs aimed at fostering positive school climate and mental health awareness.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Georgia.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating cognitive, academic, and socio‑emotional functioning.
  • Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and IEP development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
