Teacher, K-5 ELA/Reading Intervention (Part‑Time)
Location: St. Anne‑Pacelli Catholic School (PRIVATE SCHOOL)
Position Type: Part‑Time
Work Days: 19 hours max. weekly
Primary Function: Provide focused intervention instruction for K‑5 students to improve academic and interpersonal skills, using state and district-approved curriculum and assessment data, while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Advises parents and/or legal guardians of student progress.
- Adapts classroom work to provide students with instructional materials that address individualized learning plans within established lesson plans.
- Adheres to local school procedures and regulations, demonstrating loyalty, cooperation, and a positive school environment.
- Assesses student needs, progress, expectations, and goals.
- Collaborates with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
- Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
- Performs tasks to provide an effective school program and address needs of individual students.
- Exhibits professionalism, follows ethics, and handles responsibilities responsibly.
- Commits to high standards of documentation, paperwork, and instructional planning.
- Accounts for student attendance and punctuality; directs student conduct per policies.
- Follows all county, state, and federal policies and procedures.
- Meets certification and accreditation standards.
- Seeks improvement through professional development and evaluation activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Valid Georgia teacher certification or eligibility for GA certification.
- None required (experience not required).
- Ability to perform routine physical activities required for teaching.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Instructional strategies that connect curriculum to learners.
- Effective student management skills.
Citizenship: Required; residency or work visa required.
