Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually
Training InstructorFull-Time | Exempt | 80-100% Travel | Overnight Travel Required
About the RoleWe are seeking a Training Instructor to provide OSHA, safety, Haz Mat, and confined-space training to customers across a variety of industries. This position requires strong communication and presentation skills, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct OSHA, safety, Haz Mat, confined-space, and other customer training programs.
- Deliver professional and engaging classroom instruction.
- Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry safety requirements.
- Coordinate training schedules and communicate with customer contacts.
- Set up, maintain, and secure training equipment and materials.
- Complete required equipment and trailer inventories and documentation.
- Maintain clean, organized training areas.
- Follow all company SOPs, safety policies, and customer requirements.
- Communicate customer or operational concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
- Strong public speaking and communication skills.
- Good organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new software and systems.
- Ability to pass a company physical and DOT physical.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear.
- Ability and willingness to travel 80-100%, including overnight stays.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
