Job Description
:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to relate well to a variety of people
- Completion of a substitute teacher training program that meets GA Guidelines, such as MGRESA (mgresa.org) or STEDI (stedi.org)
- Have and maintain an acceptable criminal background check that includes fingerprinting upon first hire
- Be a person of high integrity, excellent character, and good reputation
- All substitute teachers are required to attend the Crawford County Substitute One-Hour Training before being placed on the substitute call list
- Must be able to follow teacher lesson plans
- Must possess good classroom management skills
