Definition:
Provide leadership and supervision to school-based after school programs within the Davenport Community School District Individual performs work of routine and moderate difficulty in recreation programs, and performs related workasrequired.

Theaveragenumberofweeklyhoursisupto
15hoursperweekatvariouslocationsthroughout Davenport. Employee reports directly to Out of School Time Administrative Staff.

• Plansandsupervisesallactivitiesduringthe Stepping Stones program .
• Musthave1yearofexperienceworkingwithinaschoolsettingordaycaresetting.
• Musthavesupervisoryexperience.
• Supervises direct-serviceprogramassistants,certified instructors,communityagencyrepresentativeswithin program activities and America Reads Program volunteers.
• Engageswithstudentsinlargeandsmallgroups,modelinggoodsocialskillsandfacilitatinghealthy relationships.
• Facilitatesbehavioralinterventionsaccordingto Stepping Stones philosophy ,policiesandprocedures,as needed and appropriate.
• Buildrelationshipswithschooldaypersonneltoensuresmoothprogramoperations
• Communicatesinapositiveandprofessionalmannerwithother Stepping Stonesstaffmembers ,students, families, and the public.
• Providesdirectsupervisionofstudentsatalltimes,ensuringhealthandsafetybothinandoutsidetheschool building.
• Preparesandfacilitiesstudentacademicactivities,supportinggoodworkhabits,criticalthinkingskills,and positive attitudes about learning.
• Participatesinthepreparation,facilitationandclean-upofactivities,includingthemaintenanceof
  
  Stepping Stones materials and program space.
• Preparesandprovidesinformationfor Stepping Stones staff ,schoolbuildingstaff,and families.
• Keeps detailed records and reports of activities at the Stepping Stones site, including chose for snack, attendance,student behavior,accidents,staffworkrecords,student files,andallotherrequiredpaperwork per DHS licensure requirements.
