Medical Student Library Assistant

Job Description:

• Assists with circulation tasks, including checking materials in and out, shelving reading of the books and models, and maintaining well-organized collections.
• Monitors Skelton Medical Library Front Desk Email.
• Assists patrons with basic technology and reference needs, e.g. how to find electronic resources from the library homepage, and troubleshooting simple printer issues.
• Monitors the OCLC account and performs Interlibrary Loan Lending services.
• Collaborates with librarians and other staff to deliver excellent library reference service on occasion.
• Assists with special projects as needed.

Pay Rate-$14/hr

Requirements:

• MUSM or undergraduate student MUST be work study.
• Candidates must have excellent customer service skills.
