Associate Manager, Commercial Energy

ICF seeks an Outreach Manager in Georgia to manage and grow a pipeline of commercial energy efficiency projects and recruit participants into utility incentive programs.

• Lead a team of account managers, including training and mentoring junior staff.
• Recruit program participants (non-residential eligible customers) and manage their accounts.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and deliver persuasive presentations.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance on energy‑efficient technologies and practices.
• Maintain project status in program tracking system and communicate with customers and contractors.
• Host presentations and trainings for local stakeholder groups, contractors, and customers.
• Assist in evaluation, implementation, and verification of energy efficiency projects across non‑residential markets.
• Conduct surveys, inspections, and quality assurance reviews of submitted projects for approval.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Energy, Engineering, or closely related field and 2+ years of utility, energy efficiency, or equivalent trade experience.
• OR High School Diploma and 6+ years of utility, energy efficiency, or equivalent trade experience.
• Successful background check and drug screening.

• Experience working with commercial and/or industrial companies.
• Ability to mentor and motivate junior staff.
• Experience with energy efficiency technologies and practices.
• Economic analysis and familiarity with energy efficiency program implementation.
• Knowledge of the existing network of distributors, contractors, and construction companies serving the Southeast.
• Experience with successful energy efficiency programs and DSM implementation.
• Certification as Energy Manager, Lighting Professional, or Energy Auditor.
• Experience with ENERGY STAR, LEED, and other program platforms.
• Experience performing energy audits and energy savings calculations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Base salary range: $84,000 to $105,500. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and other factors.
