What You Will Do

The Production Support Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing plans aligned with the business strategy to advance our world-class technology portfolio. The Production Support Engineer will provide operational engineering support to develop technologies and processes which support the growth and cost-reduction targets.

  • Leverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace disk forgings
  • Assist with problem solving during manufacturing-related investigations
  • Own relentless RCCA for correcting non-conformance in part families
  • Perform DIVES
  • Implement and monitor corrective actions; monitor and report on the health of a part family
  • Monitor non-conformances and how the part runs compared to standard times; identify areas to optimize, automate and trim waste
  • Maintain work instructions and support operational excellence using statistical analysis for process control and certification
  • Lead the CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) journey to continuously improve quality and exceed customer expectations
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment OR a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles; experience with Kaizen events or a continuous improvement program (CORE, 6S, etc.)
Qualifications We Prefer
  • STEM degree
  • Experience with CAD tools and creating engineering blueprints
  • Processing knowledge of super alloys
  • SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
