Provide SAP subject matter expertise to support SAP project where this individual will lead the transformation of the cultural application of SAP and facilitate the necessary training and controls to improve the material management and planning at the site. This is an onsite position, therefore lengthy travel will be expected if the preferred candidate does not reside local to the facility.

Functions
  • Expert SAP support to provide training and guidance to CFB and assist in driving improvements to the SAP data integrity
  • Training for specific team members including small group sessions as well as potential classroom style training sessions.
  • Support to:
  • Use SAP as true system of records (for planning & reporting)
  • Eliminate wall to wall stock
  • Improve accurate costs for scrap & CoPQ
  • Maintains current knowledge of and complies with customer/Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/Joint Aviation Administration (JAA) technical data as applicable to the work assigned.
  • Provide technical support and maintain a strong working relationship with the QRC and Quality Clinic team
  • Responsibilities are not limited to the listed items above and can be changed or modified based on skill level, proficiency, and overall performance.
Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering & MRB Process flow in the aviation industry.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Expert knowledge in SAP
  • Ability to train others with a high attention to detail and well organization.
  • Experience with Access and/or Excel databases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, planning, problem solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations regulatory requirements or work experience with government regulatory agencies
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, & ISO
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management, external customers, and government agencies
