Job Description

We are looking for a senior accountant to join our Fantastic Client in Alpharetta, Georgia. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the accounting discipline, with a primary focus on journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, ad‑hoc reporting, and close responsibilities. The role is part of a vibrant team that contributes to the smooth operation of the company's financial department.

• Oversee the processing of financial transactions and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries, ensuring they comply with the company's financial policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Collaborate with other team members to perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Conduct financial analysis on expenditures to assist in budget preparation.
• Review financial discrepancies and strive to correct or clarify them.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Participate in the development and support of internal controls and company budget system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field of Accounting.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining journal entries.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
