Work Shift:
1st shift (United States of America). Responsible for the financial analysis, risk assessment and credit structure recommendation for Commercial Real Estate clients and prospects within the institutional segment. This includes prudent underwriting and effective credit and risk administration with particular emphasis on adherence to credit policy and procedure, financial analysis/modeling, risk evaluation, ongoing portfolio maintenance activities, data integrity, and client support.
Collaborate with deal team to maintain data integrity on existing portfolio and identify credit worthy projects within targeted markets. Supplement credit analysis with research, and property level evaluation from a wide variety of internal and external sources to develop a risk assessment of client, competitor, property segment, market and industry risks and trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including an attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of credit principles applied to large institutional clients.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment.
- 4‑5 Years of portfolio management and client relationship experience specifically with pension funds, life insurance companies, or private equity firms investing in real estate.
- Intermediate knowledge of ARGUS software; high level Excel modeling and analysis tools, including expertise in use of 3rd party Real Estate Data Sources (CoStar, REIS, Axiometrics).
- Familiarity with loan documentation, covenants, Corporate Accounting and financial statement reporting including analysis of financial statements.
- Completion of commercial associate program or equivalent experience;
Master’s degree in Accounting, Real Estate Finance, MBA or related field or an equivalent combination of educational and experience or other related advanced degree.
