National Clearance Coordinator

Job Title:

National Clearance Coordinator. Join our team! Successful and leading title insurance agency seeks a highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and experienced National Clearance Coordinator with a positive attitude to be a part of our team. This is an excellent position for a candidate with experience in Escrow/Closing, Title, and Real Estate Financial Services. Qualified candidates must have the ability to multitask, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be computer proficient.

• Work closely with Clearance Officer to read and clear purchase and refinance for residential transactions.
• Work closely with Clearance Officer to examine abstracts, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues in connection with title insurance commitments/reports.
• Work closely with Clearance Officer and with title agency clients and attorneys representing parties to a real estate transaction to clear title exceptions and prepare the title for closing.
• Work closely with Clearance Officer and assist preparing and/or reviewing both Owner and Loan Policies for appropriate exceptions.
• Experience with reviewing title bills/invoices.
• Experience with Surveys, Survey Readings, Real Estate Taxes, Recordings and Escrows.
• Experience with both New York and National transactions.

• Candidates with experience and strong knowledge of Title Insurance are encouraged to apply.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of Soft Pro Select a plus.
• Great time management skills.
• Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team oriented and self-directed environments.
• Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.
• High level of accountability.
• Customer service oriented.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
