Responsibilities- Assist the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures.
- Have thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it.
- Administer direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
- Minimum Education:
RCIS program graduate or graduate of a program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology. - Minimum Experience:
1 year in Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN. No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program. - Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law:
Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license required. If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required; however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
