Professional Summary
Georgia Medical Staffing has a client in Columbus, Georgia that is in need of an Advanced Practice Provider to cover 3 shifts per week at an urgent care clinic. Coverage is needed as soon as possible and is ongoing.
Provider must have 2+ years of experience in a similar setting and be comfortable working as a solo provider for 12‑hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Full‑time urgent care coverage – 3 shifts per week.
- Perform procedures including suturing, digital nerve blocks, I&D, and reading x‑rays.
- Manage 3–4 patients per hour.
- Complete chart closure and review lab/x‑ray results at the end of every shift.
- Local/Drive‑in candidate only (within 30–45 miles of the clinic).
- Availability for full‑time coverage.
- Clean malpractice history and criminal record.
- BLS certification.
- 2+ years of experience as an advanced practice provider in a similar setting.
- Pay is $80 per hour with malpractice covered.
