Patient Services Manager (PSM) – Acute Care | Columbus, GA

We are seeking a service‑focused Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an acute care hospital in Columbus, GA. This role is primarily Monday–Friday (7:00am – 4:00pm), with weekends and holidays shared in rotation with other managers. The manager will oversee daily patient dining operations, ensure clinical diet compliance, and drive patient satisfaction while building and developing a strong frontline team.

The PSM plays a direct role in elevating the patient experience and maintaining high operational standards.

• Lead, hire, train, and develop patient services team members
• Oversee implementation of patient food service programs based on medical direction and patient population
• Ensure compliance with special and modified diets within clinical guidelines
• Drive patient satisfaction and service excellence initiatives
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, accrediting agency, and HIPAA regulations
• Participate in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

• Associate degree with one (1) year of food service experience, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• One (1) year of food service management experience preferred, ideally in acute care
• CDM, DTR, or RD preferred
• Serv Safe® certification desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR, and diet office systems
