Description:

Minimum experience of 1 year is required; first timers are accepted.
The patient population includes infants to geriatrics, focusing primarily on adults but also includes pediatric intubated patients.
Essential responsibilities include managing non-invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function tests, performing arterial lines, oxygen management, and patient education.
You will be expected to carry out arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, and draw from lines.

Experience with trauma is required.
Preferred experience with pulmonary function testing (Spirometry testing) is advantageous.
Familiarity with specific unit systems, including Epic and Pyxis, is necessary.
The facility is a level 2 trauma center with interventional stroke certification and a level 3 NICU serving as a regional transport resource.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend unless specified otherwise.
You may be floated to other areas within the facility and sister campuses as needed.
If one major holiday occurs during your assignment, you will be expected to work it.
If two major holidays occur, you will be expected to work both.
For three major holidays, you will be expected to work two of them.
Compliance and meeting all required documentation and timelines are essential for starting on time.
