, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Part Time
Guest Services Agent. We offer a culture that focuses on teamwork and high levels of customer service with an environment that empowers our team members to exceed guests' expectations. Our ideal candidate will be engaged, hands‑on, and prepared to offer "best in class" service!
Our campus is comprised of 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods located on a beautiful 8,800-acre cypress lakefront – Lake Blackshear. Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins, a full‑service fine dining restaurant and bar, catering, seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, off‑site fitness center, conference center, marina with boat rental, and an 18‑hole golf course. In addition, we offer 82 campsites (many waterfront), a pioneer camp area, 3 community shelters, 4 open‑air picnic pavilions, a swimming beach, a 3‑D archery course, and a military museum with static displays of planes, cannons and tanks.
We are managed by the Southeast’s premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.
Hours/ShiftOpen availability required including weekends and holidays.
Experience / EducationAt least one year of guest services experience within a hotel/resort is preferred. Other positions involving high levels of customer service are also preferred.
DutiesOur ultimate responsibility is to provide guests with passionate hospitality. We take care of our guests! The guest experience often begins and ends with the guest interaction at our Front Desk. Guest interaction includes:
- Greeting guests upon arrival, perform registration process and provide guests with information they need to enjoy their stay.
- Responding to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints to ensure guest expectations are met.
- Answering phones and entering reservations.
- Processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, debit, and credit cards.
- Processing check‑outs including resolving any late or disputed charges.
- Coordinating with other departments, including Housekeeping and Maintenance, to ensure cabins are ready for arrivals.
- Communicating parking and other procedures to guests and visitors.
- Supplying guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Additional duties as assigned including following established SOPs.
