Overview
Responsible for finding potential candidates by attending career fairs, reviewing resumes, and posting ads.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Work with all hiring managers to anticipate personnel actions/changes that may impact staffing.
- Manage data associated with the recruitment process to ensure timely handling.
- Utilize a variety of methods to generate qualified candidates to include web‑based sourcing, internet postings, internal/external networking such as Goodwill, Columbus Tech, and other centers of influence.
- Maintain accurate up to date applicant information in recruiting database.
- Submit/check backgrounds daily along with all onboarding tasks. If there is a delay in backgrounds returning, please notify hiring manager.
- Host/Attend career fairs.
- Assist applicants with all onboarding questions/concerns.
- Ensure all pre‑employment requirements are met prior to job offer.
- Check all resources daily to assist hiring managers in filing positions in a timely manner.
- Maintain/monitor all open positions and close positions when necessary.
- Assist with any Human Resource duties when necessary.
- Must always ensure a high level of confidentiality.
- Attend/Participate in all meetings and training required by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources/Recruiting required.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.
- Detail oriented with strong verbal/written communication skills required.
- Able to work well in stressful situations and maintain composure under pressure.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 10-25 lbs.
