• Review current data governance maturity, ownership model, and decision‑making gaps
• Define high‑level data ownership principles across business and IT stakeholders
• Support definition of access rights, permissions, data sharing rules, and approval flows
• Validate EU data residency, GDPR, security, and compliance considerations relevant to the target platform
• Support AI governance guardrails, including safe AI usage, shadow AI mitigation, data protection, and responsible use principles
• Advise on governance requirements for future AI / automation use cases
• Review platform and architecture recommendations from a governance and compliance perspective
• Contribute to the operating model for future data / AI platform support
• Provide input into Phase 2 roadmap regarding governance, controls, ownership, and readiness

• Experience in data governance, AI governance, data privacy, or enterprise data management
• Understanding of GDPR, EU data residency, access control, and data protection requirements
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms, analytics, or AI initiatives
• Ability to translate governance requirements into practical delivery recommendations
• Experience working with business, IT, security, legal, and compliance stakeholders
• Strong ability to identify governance risks without over complicating delivery

• Experience with AI adoption, responsible AI, or GenAI governance
• Experience in manufacturing, multi‑site enterprise, logistics, supply chain, or process‑heavy organizations
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, or similar
