As Senior Azure Consultant, you will design and deliver solutions that drive efficiency and solve problems for our customers. You will deliver on project scopes with an eye for technical excellence, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Consultant focusing on Azure you will work closely with our Engineers, Consultants, Technical Architects, Principal Architects and Project Managers. You will also collaborate with presales architects and sales teams to meet customers, develop an understanding of their objectives and spot new opportunities when possible.

Day-to-day will consist of working on project delivery as part of an implementation team. Your ongoing contributions to practice development and internal initiatives will enhance our ability to efficiently deliver projects. In addition, you provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.

Responsibilities include
  • Assume technical leader role during design and implementation of small to medium technology solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Provide overviews of complex solutions, architectures, integrations and project updates with precision and clarity to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security standards and compliance best practices.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Complete project documentation, using templates and maintain a high level of accuracy and quality.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the Azure Cloud Delivery Practice, including creating best practices, methodologies and offerings.
  • Timely timesheet submission and detailed work notes.
  • Mentor and develop Technicians and Engineers on the team, providing guidance on their technical skills as well as the soft skills required for their success.
What you’ll bring to the table
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 7+ years of related industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Services.
  • Expert technical knowledge of the following Microsoft Azure topics:
  • Subscriptions Management
  • Security and Monitoring
  • Resource Organization
  • Azure Identity and Access Management
  • Cost Management
  • Business Continuity Planning
  • A strong understanding of infrastructure as code, Cloud automation, governance, and cost optimization.
  • A strong foundation in technology components – client, storage, compute, virtualization, Networking, and Security.
  • Strong scripting skills in various languages and platforms, including Power Shell.
  • Excellent knowledge of core areas in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cloud Identity.
  • Application/Database/Infrastructure migrations from on-prem to Hybrid/Cloud.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation and consulting skills, including technical writing.
  • Experience with some or all of the following technologies is an asset:
    Dev Ops tools like Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Bit Bucket, containerization concepts, and Kubernetes.
  • Microsoft certifications:
    Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Network Engineer Associate and/or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Georgia & Colorado is $110,960 to $138,700 annually + 14% as target incentives.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Texas & Pennsylvania is $116,800 to $146,000 annually + 14% as target incentives.
