Kelly Services is seeking a qualified Buyer to work on the 1st shift at Pratt and Whitney in Midland, Georgia. 4 years of experience as a Buyer in a Manufacturing setting preferred.
Salary and Compensation- $25.00 per hour

- 1st shift - Monday thru Friday - 8am - 4:30pm
- The Pratt & Whitney Buyer is an opportunity for a highly motivated, team-oriented, experienced supply chain and or procurement purchasing professional. In addition to tactical buying and sourcing, you will be responsible for managing the procurement cycle, critical shortages, and issue resolution.
- Creation and end-to-end management of purchase orders in support of the customer operations
- Manage critical shortages in support of 100% on time delivery of purchase orders
- Provide timely support of business reporting requirements and deliverables
- Local delivery assurance and supplier development
- Monitoring and escalation of systemic issues
- Achieve the highest levels of customer support to internal/external stakeholders
- Adhere to all standard work, purchasing policies, procedures, and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, or Supply Chain
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement or supplier management
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of international trade compliance regulations related to material logistics
- Aerospace or aftermarket experience highly preferred
- Demonstrated issue resolution skills both vendor- and customer-facing
- SAP experience preferred
- Good prioritization and project management skills
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to take lead roles as required
- Solid social and interpersonal skills to meet the rigorous interaction between the Pratt & Whitney discipline leaders, engine centers, partners, and network of repair suppliers
- Understanding of lean management principles and how to implement the tools to support operational performance goals
