Job Summary

Our lead will be responsible for warehouse, logistics, shipping, and receiving within the department, while providing exceptional support to staff and area supervisors. The lead will liaise with leadership, other leads, and peers within the facility across multiple departments. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership and self‑motivated skills with the ability to train, direct, and provide guidance to team members.

The lead must have the ability to multitask with a strong sense of urgency in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires a candidate who can build great relationships with peers, supervisors, and crew members while representing the DEUTZ brand with excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversees and performs duties specific to the department.
  • Direct activities of the various processes, float, and fill‑in for absent employees, as needed.
  • Oversees and ensures that all processes including safety are being followed and the line flow is balanced accordingly.
  • Oversees all stations, inspection, parts identification, and entry in SAP.
  • Check engines for completeness of processes. Need to be a good steward of the product to maximize the components recovered and minimize damage.
  • Need to be vigilant with a goal to maximize the components recovered and minimize damage during, handling, and transportation.
  • Provide technical support to staff, including tools, materials, and training.
  • Train and develop new employees using the DEUTZ onboarding process.
  • Monitor new employees to ensure that they maintain Deutz standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Monitor and retrain as necessary. Be able to provide feedback on employee performance.
  • Support cross training of employees.
  • Update and maintain training records as required.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Knowledge of lifting equipment and/or devices.
  • Strong leadership skills with training experience.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Minor computer skills
Preferred Requirements
  • General knowledge of engine parts.
  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • SAP experience
  • Flexible schedule
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • able to work in a warehouse environment
