Strategic Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst I to join our procurement team. This role is pivotal in supporting our category strategy through data‑driven insights, supplier research, and rigorous contract management. You will act as a key coordinator between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring that our sourcing processes—from initial research to final contract execution—are efficient, compliant, and value‑oriented.

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management PLUS two years of professional job‑related experience.
• Alternative: An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Preferred: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) designation.

• Procurement Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of sourcing principles, indirect procurement, and RFP processes.
• Analytical Rigor: Understanding of financial/cost analyses, business case development, and qualitative/quantitative decision modeling.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to negotiate effectively with senior management and external partners.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills are required.
  
  Experience with
  SAP, Ariba, and Fieldglass is highly preferred.
• Problem Solving: An aptitude for conceptualizing and "selling" new concepts while maintaining an analytical approach to strategic development.
