About this Role

The Senior Manager, Inventory Control Tower will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management, visibility, and optimization of inventory across our global supply chain. By utilizing advanced analytics, tracking systems, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, the specialist will enable seamless inventory management and ensure that product availability meets customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Monitoring & Analysis: Regularly analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock movement across all locations to identify trends, potential shortages, or excesses.
  • Inventory Optimization: Utilize advanced forecasting tools and methods to predict future inventory needs and optimize inventory levels, minimizing holding costs while ensuring product availability.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring data accuracy in the inventory management system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, operations, and warehouse teams to align on inventory needs and priorities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance inventory processes and tools to ensure they are efficient, up‑to‑date, and meet business needs.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on inventory metrics, including stock levels, turnover rates, potential stockouts, and other KPIs.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as a point of contact for any inventory‑related issues and drive resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the inventory process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Training: Train and guide other team members on inventory best practices and new tools or processes as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience of inventory management logistics
Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS certification
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies or Six Sigma
  • Collaborated and led multi‑cultural teams
  • Lean DNA experience
  • Ability to connect with c‑suite and buyers across North America
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency with inventory Management and ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of inventory forecasting techniques and tools
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment
