Job Overview:
The Project Manager manages multi-million dollar automated material handling projects in Baggage Handling, Warehouse Automation, and Parcel Sortation throughout North America.

We are seeking a business professional with an entrepreneurial background and in-depth understanding of executing major material handling systems in a multi-disciplinary environment. The project manager may report to a Project Director on a large program or directly manage smaller projects. We are a fast-paced matrixed organization seeking a PM with not only the technical background to do the job but also one who can work effectively as part of a team.

• Lead administrative, contractual, technical, and financial aspects of the projects.
• Lead and organize the project team and develop effective relationships.
• Ensure the integrated system design meets performance and technical specification requirements.
• Manage the project master schedule to achieve timely completion of contract obligations, hold stakeholders accountable, and meet internal commitments.
• Report monthly project status.
• Act as the primary interface with customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects as required.
• Lead a multi-disciplined team and sub‑contractors; manage conflict, establish priorities, coordinate concurrent and sequencing activities, and promote effective interactions among departments.
• Manage risks and seek opportunities.
• Manage project cash flow and schedule of deliverables against price/time curves.
• Exercise overall profit responsibility for the total project.

• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience demonstrating increasing levels of project value and complexity.
• Experience completing medium-sized projects (up to $40M) in the Construction and/or Material Handling Industry.
• Strong subcontractor management experience.
• Experience managing complex groups of stakeholders and consultants within complex project environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (most travel is on weekdays).

• BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field.
• PMP, P.E., or LEED Certification/Accreditation.
• Experience with Automated Control Systems.
• Experience working for an international organization.

• Excellent stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent decision-making ability with a strong financial focus.
• Sound knowledge of contract law.
• Ability to manage a diverse team of internal disciplines.
