What You Will Do:
  • Plan, create, coordinate, and deliver highly customized product training programs for each type of inspection performed s position will also support and perform / deliver other training, such as, but not limited to CEC Systems training, FOD, SUPS, New Hire training, Engine Familiarization, etc.
  • Development of training plans, instruction guides, lesson plans, learning objectives, training material, and technical documentation for audiences of various abilities and backgrounds
  • Obtain information needed to prepare lesson plans, job aids, and test questions
  • Design and develop course content
  • Conduct training sessions to audiences of various abilities and backgrounds and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the training activities
  • Continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • This position requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) and 10 years of aviation inspection experience
  • This position requires an active CEC Inspector Certification
  • PC Skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software preferred. (Specifically, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Windows 97).
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical data for the purpose of giving instruction based on the data.
  • SAP Familiarization
  • Thorough understanding of CEC Inspection systems, such as, but not limited to IDB / ESVR / MES / Solumina, etc.

  • Ability to work across cross-functional groups / across shifts to gain alignment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all levels of the organization for the purpose of delivering presentations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in designing and creating training courses and materials for an individual and groups
  • Proficiency in facilitating technical modularized learning experiences across instructor-led and eLearning modalities
  • Agile mindset with the ability to pivot when circumstances change, or a new direction is set
  • Knowledge of instructional design
