  • Ability to read and write.
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Working Conditions

The employee is continually exposed to a working environment consisting of smoke and irritating particulate impurities, acid fumes from pickling tanks, and large quantities of wind‑blown dust and ash produced as a by‑product of the process. The nature of the industry results in extreme heat in the summer (typically 10‑15 degrees above outdoor temperature) and melting snow on incoming material resulting in damp, cold working conditions in the winter.

The average employee dresses comfortably while performing his/her assigned task, subjecting him/her to chilling and cold as large temperature fluctuations occur due to movement of material.

  • Healthcare (medical, prescription drugs, dental and vision).
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Paid time off.
  • Employer paid life insurance.
  • Employer paid short‑term and long‑term disability including maternity leave.
