As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, the primary purpose is to contribute to the effective operation of industrial equipment by performing advanced maintenance tasks and troubleshooting issues within the facility.
Responsibilities- Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs, and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectations.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Independently troubleshoot and diagnose complex machinery issues.
- Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts.
- (In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee)
- Training Compliance
- Zero safety incidents
- Daily Attainment of CPM (Canning) / Lbs. (Cook) targets against bottleneck
- Minimize DT below 5% each day (Combined operational & machine)
- Zero Quality Incidents
- High school diploma/GED with technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- 1‑3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficient understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols.
- Experience in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Advanced machine troubleshooting desired.
- Basic PLC and fabrication skills desired.
- Electronic training or experience preferable.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques is an asset.

Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, and sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job. The employee is also regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment fluctuates from quiet to loud.
All team members at Crider Foods must adhere to our food safety requirements and must report food safety problems to management. All attempts should be made to ensure that the written and digital records are documented at the time the activity is performed, legible, clear, concise and suitably authorized (not falsified) by those undertaking monitoring (documented work tasks). This position may be responsible for the inspection and verification of records.
