General Job Description
Fork Lift Operators will work safely while moving product throughout our facility.
Responsibilities- Responsible for moving product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered tools and vehicles.
- Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
- Transport goods to designated area.
- Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.
- Safely move product into and out of racking systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Move product and/or materials manually as required.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Ensure the correct lots are moved/loaded/unloaded as directed.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork.
- Thoroughly inspect fork lift each shift before beginning operation.
- Obtain fork lift certification.
- Climbing stairs and ladders occasionally
- Walking
- Lifting
- Reaching overhead
- Reaching at or below shoulder level
- Bending and twisting
- Stooping
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Gross manipulation
- Driving
- Safely operate a fork lift
- Lift 50 pounds occasionally
