Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time CNC Saw Operator to work out of our office in Ellijay, GA. CNC Saw Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the cutting equipment.

• Operate industrial CNC cutting equipment in accordance with the work order.
• Rig and operate lift trucks and overhead cranes.
• Identification and handling of materials.
• Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets.
• Maintain quality standards.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Candidates must be able to measure quickly and accurately.
• Experience working with steel and material identification such as pipes and beams.
• Knowledge of moving equipment such as lift trucks and overhead cranes.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift.
• Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
