To work as part of a team in order to ensure that all Health, Safety, Chemical, Environmental, Operational and Customer service targets are met.
Warehouse position is responsible for working M-F eight hour shifts per assigned schedule and as needed for scheduled overtime. The job requires a demonstrated ability to load and off load raw material and finished product into tank trucks, rail cars and trailers. Ability to identify products and understand the warehouse system for placement and order staging which requires employee to utilize a fork lift.
Paperwork accurate completion and computer skills are required.
Miscellaneous duties will be assigned as needs arise.
Ehs- Understands basis of safety for processes operated.
- Understands process alarm and safety interlock systems.
- Operates and maintains equipment in a safe and correct manner.
- Handles materials correctly as specified in MSDS and wears the correct PPE specified by the PPE matrix.
- Maintains high housekeeping standards within work area.
- Reports incidents and unsatisfactory work practices/ conditions via the near miss or event reporting system.
- Understands ISO 9000 and QAS process standards.
- Ensures finished goods are of the highest quality.
- Understands factors affecting product quality and adjusts conditions within specified guidelines to achieve product quality specification.
- Completes documentation and records to quality standards.
- Actively participates in continuous improvment
- Operates processes in full accordance with SOP's
- Operates processes to ensure plan/schedule.
- Understands the basic operation and expected performance of equipment used, carrying out fit for purpose checks and ensuring good maintenance standards.
- Accurately records all processing records and stock movements and monitors existing paperwork for errors or discrepancies.
- Is flexible and willing to carry out a number of different tasks across the site.
- Readily undertakes training and willing to train others.
- Reports any irregularities with stock levels.
- Understands internal and external customer requirements and endeavours to meet their needs.
- Ensures all raw materials and finished products meet the customer specifications.
- Must be willing and able to work 8 hour shifts as schedule and cover evening hours and weekends as assigned.
- Must be willing to accept short notice for overtime. Must be prepared to work flexible hours to cover weekends and absences.
- Must meet physical requirements and be able to carry out manual work including lifting of 25kg
