Aboutthe Position
The Lead Pastor serves as the primary spiritual leader of Northside Christian Church, providing biblical preaching, pastoral care, and Christ‑centered leadership for the congregation. Working alongside the elders, the Lead Pastor is responsible for casting vision, equipping believers for ministry, shepherding the church through teaching and discipleship, supervising a staff of three, and fostering a healthy, unified ministry culture. This role includes the typical responsibilities of leading a congregation of approximately 100 people, including preaching, counseling, visitation, leadership development, administration, and community engagement, while helping the church fulfill its mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
