Staff RN – Naperville – Pediatrics
Full‑time position (32 hours per week).
Working hours:
Monday–Thursday 7:30am–7:00pm, Friday 8:00am–4:00pm, Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm.

- Under general supervision, provide high‑quality support to physicians in meeting patient medical needs.
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms, prepare them for physicians, take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, and ensure medical chart/lab test results are available and complete.
- Perform telephone triage, patient education, handle physician phone calls, and process pharmacy calls. May assist by setting up appointments or arranging hospital tests or admissions.
- Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; record and document all such activities in the chart.
- Assist physicians with procedures as necessary.
- Clean and stock patient examination rooms, prepare instruments for procedures, and maintain a list of needed medical supplies.
- Complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x‑rays, school/work notes, and other required documentation.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and check/restock medication cabinets as necessary.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient.
- Report all test results to patients as directed by the physician.
- Perform OSHA controls and assist in narcotic counts.
- Perform other projects and duties related to department objectives.
- Maintain positive teamwork, accept constructive criticism, and follow work rules.
- Use current nursing practices to provide patient care, focusing on patient needs and exemplifying service excellence, respect, and cooperation.
- Act as patient advocate by being the initial contact for patient‑related issues.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Current Illinois RN licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting (new graduates may be considered under specific circumstances).
Base pay range: $27.00‑$38.50 per hour; actual pay determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
