Position: Licensed Practical Nurse – Day Shift
Location: Special Management Unit, Jackson, GA 30233

Shift: 7:30AM – 5:00PM (rotating weekend)
Compensation: $31.00–$36.00 per hour; weekend shift differential $1.00

Day shift schedule, clear policies and workflows, dedicated security presence, no family or visitor interactions, supportive nursing leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence‑based nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately.
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health, correctional, or emergency department settings.
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license – either Georgia (SL) or Compact (MSL).
• Active certification in Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to obtain security clearance through the Georgia Department of Corrections, which may include drug screen and criminal background check.
