RN Nurse, Pulmonary Care, LPN/LVN
Description
Respiratory Nurse (RN/LPN) at Banyan Pulmonary Services
If you love nursing — but want more time to actually practice it —
read this.
For nearly 30 years, respiratory care has been missing in long‑term care
. We’re bringing it back — and building a model where nurses can focus on clinical care, relationships, and outcomes.
This role is different.
You’ll work with the same residents consistently
, partner closely with RTs
, and have the time and support to think, assess, and make an impact — not just move from task to task.
- Support residents with respiratory conditions (COPD, CHF, trachs, vents)
- Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in condition
- Work closely with RTs, physicians, and facility teams
- Educate residents and families
- Help prevent avoidable hospitalizations
- Active RN license
- BLS required (ACLS a plus)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication
- Consistency — same residents, real continuity of care
- Stronger clinical focus — more time to assess, think, and intervene
- Team‑based model — you’re supported by RTs, not doing it alone
- Meaningful impact — see real progress over time
You became a nurse to make a difference — not just stay busy.
This is a chance to be part of a model that lets you do exactly that.
