• Develop, implement, and evaluate an individual plan of care for each patient.
• Oversee care of patients provided by nursing and other staff on the assigned unit/shift.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to coordinate care.
• Document care and changes in patient condition; take remedial actions when needed.
• Act as Charge Nurse when needed and as assigned.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on tests, procedures, treatments, and medications in understandable terms.
• Attend interdisciplinary conferences, representing the department and relaying nursing observations.
• Implement emergency response to crisis situations in the absence of senior management.
• Provide a minimum of two in‑services annually.
• Participate in identifying and implementing training needs for nurse development.

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN® certification required.
• Two years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
